Why does it always happen to me?
Why don't people let me be me?
Why do they want my 'self' to manipulate?
It's something I simply hate.
Why don't they leave me alone?
Allowing me to do things on my own.
Why can't I take my own decisions
As per my fantasies and precision?
I dislike any interference
Because I trust my conscience and prudence.
They say you can't change the world, you must always change yourself.
But may I dare to ask, is it that easy to change oneself?
Why don't people just live and let live?
Why don't they just forget and forgive?
But well, I do realize, if this were to happen,
Would earth not become heaven?
